Purpose
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee for the College, established in 2022, recognizes the exceptional and exemplary work of an individual, outside primary, work-related responsibilities, in advancing the values of inclusion, equity and diversity across the College and University, and among the greater area and surrounding communities.
Eligibility
The candidate must be a current, full-time College academic/administrative faculty or classified staff member who has not received this award.
Self-nominations are not accepted.
Information required about the nominee:
- How has the nominee(s) demonstrated superior leadership and commitment to the enhancement, development and sustainability of diversity and inclusive excellence?
- How has the nominee’s contribution uniquely addressed key issues of diversity and inclusiveness throughout the College, Extension and/or Nevada? How is this contribution different from existing activities and projects that address diversity and inclusiveness?
- What have been the measurable outcomes? Has this project/program/activity been replicated at other institutions? How has this project/program/activity “moved the needle” in addressing issues of diversity and inclusiveness throughout the College, Extension and/or Nevada?
