- Theoretical and experimental aspects of earthquake engineering and structural dynamics, focusing on hazard mitigation and seismic fragility of structural and nonstructural systems
- Experimental and analytical studies of seismic performance, design and retrofit of buildings and bridges with/without earthquake protective systems
