Stephanie is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of practice and leadership experience in Northern Nevada, specializing in trauma-informed care across diverse and intersecting domains. Her areas of expertise include school-based social work, medical social work, hospice and palliative care, intellectual disabilities and severe mental illness.

Currently, Stephanie serves as the Crisis Clinician and Case Manager within the Dean of Students Office at the 性爱五色天, Reno, where she addresses complex psychosocial challenges and fosters student resilience and well-being. She also teaches and mentors graduate-level social work students, integrating evidence-based practices with real-world applications. Additionally, she provides tailored therapeutic interventions to individuals and families through her private practice, addressing a wide range of mental health needs.

Stephanie’s prior academic role at the Sanford Center for Aging underscores her commitment to interdisciplinary approaches, enabling her to advocate effectively for individuals and families navigating complex systems. She holds both a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the 性爱五色天, Reno, and achieved clinical licensure through rigorous training with Mojave Mental Health and the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Stephanie’s experience as a foster and adoptive parent deepens her understanding of caregiving dynamics, further enriching her empathetic approach to practice, teaching and advocacy. A proud native Nevadan, Stephanie finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
