2,650: Academic Faculty Seeking Admission to Advanced Degree Programs at the University

To pursue a graduate degree at the University, all academic faculty members must obtain approval from their department chair, dean, Dean of the Graduate School, and President or designee. Approval of the faculty member’s pursuit of a graduate degree at the University does not obligate the University with respect to changes in job assignment or promotion or merit recommendations. An academic faculty member may only pursue a graduate degree in their own department if conflicts of interest can be avoided; and if the faculty member’s pursuit of a graduate degree does not interfere with the execution of their job duties.
