Campus climate survey: Opportunity to enhance working, living, studying at the University
The campus climate survey, which runs through March 15, will help University better understand living and working on campus.
Dear 性爱五色天, Reno community member,
At the 性爱五色天, Reno, we seek to create an environment marked by openness, fairness and equal access for all students, faculty and staff. In fact, it is clear that our University is at its best when we acknowledge and nurture the individual needs, abilities and potential of all of our people. Creating and maintaining a community environment that respects individual needs, abilities, and potential is critically important.
As you may already know, we are beginning the process of assessing how all members of our community experience the current campus climate via the survey, Assessment of Learning, Living, and Working at the 性爱五色天, Reno, which is being undertaken by the University with the assistance of Rankin & Associates Consulting, a nationally recognized leader in institutional evaluation. The goals of the project include: 1) identify successful initiatives, 2) document and quantify specific challenges facing members of our community, and 3) develop strategic initiatives to build on the successes and address the challenges.
I encourage you to take the time to help us understand the current climate at the University. The survey, which will be available to the campus community beginning on Feb. 19, 2019, and running through March 15, 2019, is designed to provide information about both positive and challenging aspects of our climate. It is your opportunity to describe your personal experiences, your observations, and to offer suggestions for change that might enhance the campus climate at the University.
All of your answers will remain confidential. The results will be reported in group form only. You will not be identifiable as an individual. Your participation in this project is voluntary. This research has been reviewed and approved by the University's Institutional Review Board. Additional information about the project is available at www.unr.edu/truth
I respectfully encourage you to take the 20 to 30 minutes needed to answer the questions by going to www.unr.edu/truth.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this vital project.
Sincerely,
Marc A. Johnson, President
