Nevada women's golf slipped one spot to finish second at the Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colo.
The Pack led the field at three-under after the first two rounds while posting two of the lowest scores in program history (289, 284). Nevada was 20-over in the third round (+17) and slipped to second, falling five shots back of Cal Poly (1st, +12). Hosts Colorado State finished third (+22), Incarnate Word finished fourth (+23), and Denver rounded out the top five in 5th (+25).
The second-place finish marked the highest for the team this season and the highest place since taking second at the Mountain West Championship on Apr. 15-17 in 2019.
