'A Journey Through 150 Years' will celebrate the University鈥檚 history and accomplishments

Members of the University and local community are invited to attend an evening of activities and entertainment.

The 性爱五色天, Reno invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and community members to attend “” on Oct. 10 on the University campus. The event will be held to celebrate the University’s 150th anniversary, which is Oct. 12.

From 4 to 7 p.m. at the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center (MIKC), festivities will include a parade and opening ceremony, interactive exhibits and activities, and live entertainment. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of “” book. The evening concludes with a volleyball match between the Nevada Wolf Pack and Air Force at 7 p.m. in the Virginia Street Gym.

“‘A Journey Through 150 Years’ is the culminating point of a year’s worth of celebration of our University’s rich history and accomplishments,” Patricia Richard, interim vice president of University Advancement and co-chair of the University’s 150th Celebration Planning Committee, said. “We look forward to celebrating this milestone event with The Wolf Pack Family and the local community, giving us all the opportunity to reflect on our past, embrace the present and look to our future.”

This event is free and open to the public. Interested individuals are asked to register in advance on the and can purchase tickets for the .

For the past year, the University, which was founded on Oct. 12, 1874, has honored its 150-year history with special events, , a commemorative license plate, a sesquicentennial film, a and many other efforts coordinated by units around campus.
