Would you like to submit a proposal? To begin, notify the ERO of your intention to submit a proposal by completing the Once this is done, the ERO will respond with next steps.

Proposals submitted with less than lead times noted above will receive limited review.

Complete and send the "" form.
Upon receipt of the "Intent to Submit" form, the ERO will create an InfoEd file and email you to coordinate proposal development, budget creation and collection of required documentation.
Budget and justification:
Send attachments of draft SP-22 budget form and justification narrative to the ERO. Reference the rate sheet when completing the SP-22. The ERO understands the complexities of the budget and will review and suggest edits as needed.
Upon review, the ERO will finalize both documents and submit any revisions to the PI for review and use.
Narrative and supplementary documents:
The ERO will assign an editor to the proposal for copy editing and proofreading. For development support, contact the ERO at least four weeks prior to your desired submission date. The team will return the draft with edits and suggestions.
Complete your InfoEd file by uploading the following documents:
- Final SP-22 budget form
- Final budget justification narrative
- Draft of scope of work, summary or project description
- Final subcontractor documents (if applicable)
- Final cost share form (if applicable)
Upload into the system all required documents being used for proposal submission (i.e., research.gov, ASSIST, NSPIRES, etc.). These documents may include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Biosketches
- References cited
- Data management plan
- Graduate student mentoring plan
- Collaborators and other affiliations
- Current and pending projects
- Other documents as required
If required by the submission system (i.e., research.gov), please grant access for Sponsored Projects to review, edit and/or submit.
Please upload final summary and/or project description documents to the submission site.
*Proposals not uploaded to submission sites with a 5-day lead time may not receive thorough review by ERO/OSP.
The ERO will confirm with the PI prior to the submission of any proposal.
Confirmation of the submission will be sent to the PI (if submitted by Sponsored Projects) and a submission copy uploaded to InfoEd.
***Should your proposal receive fudning and it as given to our team outside of this timeline, we will invoice you a late fee of $1,000.
