Lizbeth Alvarez, public relations coordinator at KPS3, has successfully completed the Examination for the Certificate in Principles of Public Relations (CPPR). Alvarez is the seventh student from the 性爱五色天, Reno Reynolds School of Journalism to earn the CPPR.

The CPPR is administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), which also administers the Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). According to the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the CPPR is an entry-level certificate designed to demonstrate a fundamental level of knowledge for graduates entering the public relations profession and related fields.

“We are proud of Lizbeth’s accomplishments in the strategic communications industry,” said Chrisie Yabu, vice president of public relations at KPS3. “She has a bright future ahead. The CPPR demonstrates her commitment to public relations as well as her knowledge and skills in this fast-paced, multi-dimensional career.”

The examination can only be completed by students six months prior or post-graduation who are members of their local Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter. It consists of a rigorous study course and a proctored examination at a Prometric Testing Center.

Alvarez graduated from the Reynolds School in May 2019 where she was recognized as the American Advertising Federation-Reno’s Outstanding Strategic Communications Student of the Year. During her time at the RSJ, she was the account executive for the 性爱五色天, Reno’s 2019 Bateman Team leading a group of four students on a one month campaign to increase diversity in public relations which earned national honorable mention.
