Alex joined the Math Center first in Fall 2022 and has worked there since, taking one semester off in Fall 2024 to perform undergraduate research with Dr. Aleksey Telyakovskiy on fractional finite difference calculus. He also is set to be the host of the University's 2025 Integration Bee. He will graduate with his Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics in Spring 2025, after which he hopes to go on to graduate school to pursue his Ph.D. In his spare time, he competes on the University Overwatch Esports team, enjoys hiking, and loves going out to movies, bowling and more -- though it almost doesn't matter what it is as long as he gets to enjoy it with friends and family.
