In the celebration of academic achievement, the College of Business proudly hosted the largest graduating class for the 性爱五色天, Reno’s Winter 2023 Commencement ceremony. The event, held on Dec. 9, marked a significant milestone for the college and showcased its graduates' hard work and dedication.

With a record-breaking 184 students in caps and gowns, the College of Business demonstrated its commitment to fostering excellence in business education.

“I am immensely proud to share that this winter, the College of Business has achieved the highest number of graduates across the university. This milestone is not only a testament to our students' hard work but also reflects the exceptional dedication of our faculty, advisors and staff,” Jeremy Tiedt, assistant dean of undergraduate student success, said.  “Their commitment to excellence and student success has been pivotal in this achievement. Congratulations to our graduates.”

The College of Business prides itself on its accomplished faculty, who played a pivotal role in guiding and shaping the academic journeys of the graduating students. Faculty members were on hand to congratulate their students and celebrate the conclusion of years of hard work and academic excellence.

“I am forever grateful for the guidance and knowledge passed on by my finance professors. I would like to give a special shoutout to Dr. Zeng and Dr. Li for their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that students comprehend complex topics, making the learning process enjoyable and insightful,” said graduating finance student Jeremy Means. “I can’t thank them enough for enriching my experience and providing a solid foundation for my future endeavors.”

The atmosphere at the commencement ceremony was one of joy and accomplishment, with cheers and applause echoing throughout as each graduate crossed the stage to receive their diploma.

“Returning to college in 2020 during COVID was rough, but my motivation weighed more. In my time of being dropped out, I learned to appreciate college a lot more.” Jasmine Desiree Prado, graduating information systems student, said. “Now that I look back, finishing the marathon finally is bittersweet. I wouldn’t have done it any other way, and now I know this path was meant for me!”

College of Business Dean Greg Mosier expressed immense pride in the graduating class and praised them for their resilience and determination, especially in the face of the challenges posed by the global circumstances that occurred during their time at the university.

“I am always excited about graduation.  The record number of College of Business students graduating this winter is indicative of the appreciation our students have for the opportunities that we provide at the 性爱五色天, Reno.” Mosier said. “We are proud of them and what they will accomplish.”
